Downtown Monroe Covered with Christmas

Christmas in DOMO 2016 Facebook
Christmas in DOMO will have guests from Santa to Steve Trash to entertain the family all day.

Christmas is taking over downtown Monroe Saturday, December 3rd from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. This full day of Christmas cheer will have all things holidays from carolers to fireworks and everything in between.

The festivities start at 10 a.m. with the River Market sales. Throughout that time there will be Christmas carolers, a magic show, a pet pageant, and an ugly sweater contest. There will also be a guest appearance of Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. As the booths close up around 4 p.m. the Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade will be making its way through the River Market.

After shopping and receiving candy from super hero themed floats, the Downtown River Jam will begin at 6 p.m. and last until 8 p.m., with a firework show in between at 7 p.m.
