Alice Prophit formed the Living Well Foundation in 2006 and since then has made an impact on the entire northeast Louisiana region.
The foundation has provided over $4,650,760 to eight parishes (Union, Morehouse, Lincoln, Ouachita, Richland, Jackson, Caldwell, Franklin) since 2007.
Some of their largest support has gone to school based health care like on campus medical clinics. These clinics can help children get medical help without having to leave school or have their parents leave work to come get them.
The Living Well Foundation has also partnered with ULM' s Dental Hygiene Clinic with an initiative to support clinics in a mobile and school based setting.
In 2015, The foundation provided over $400,00 in funding for the area.
