The Easter Bunny is making it's annual stop in Monroe at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo. Mayor Jamie Mayo and the Monroe City Council are pleased to join the Department of Community Affairs and Louisiana Purchase Zoological Society to present Easter Eggstravaganza 2018.

The community event is scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 31 at the zoo parklands. Residents are encouraged to bring their kids and the entire family out for a time with the Easter Bunny, Prizes, and Activities.  Easter egg hunts will be conducted by age for children ages zero through 10.  The hunts will start at 11 a.m. and go throughout the afternoon.

Admission is $7 per person and those under 1-years-old are admitted for free. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Zoological Society.
