Love and a few laughs highlight a special Valentine's program, Lovin' Broadway. The show is presented by Louisiana Opera on Saturday in Kilbourne Hall at Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe.
Guest and locally-based artists perform memorable songs from several Broadway productions. Louisiana Opera Director Mark Clark says, "there's songs from 'Showboat', 'The Music Man', 'Jekyll and Hyde', just a great variety through the show."
Kilbourne Hall will be decorated in the theme of Valentine's Day. Hors d'ouevres and beverages are included in admission to the show, beginning at 7 p.m.
