Exhibit piece from Everything is Abstract by Dean Dablow

This Thursday, January 19th, the Masur Museum of Art is holding a reception for the Everything is Abstract exhibition. The premise of this exhibition is to display how any attempt to depict an object changes how that object is perceived.

The artist of this exhibition, Dean Dablow, is a Professor Emeritus at Louisiana Tech University. Everything is Abstract showcases Dablow's work from 1974 to 2016, and it will include a variety of media. While the reception will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday night, the exhibition will be on view until March 11th.

Upcoming on the Masur Museum of Art's schedule is the 54th Annual Juried Competition starting March 29th and a Variety Event on February 4th that will include live music, raku fire ceramics, and opportunities to purchase art.

More information on the Everything is Abstract reception and upcoming events at the Masur Museum can be found here.
