Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Deputies made an arrest in the theft of farm equipment. Chad George, 41 of Farmerville, was arrested after a six-month investigation.
In June of this year, deputies began working the case of a farm tractor and trailer stolen from a residence in Ouachita Parish. Based on the investigation and a tip from the Union Parish Crime Stoppers an arrest was made.
George, a Union Parish resident, has been charged with one count of felony theft.
He is currently being held in Union Parish for similar charges. Once released he will be booked into OCC on charges of one count of felony theft.
The equipment was safely recovered and other charges are expected in this investigation.
