AgExpo has something for all types of farmers.

Learn more about local agriculture at the 2018 AgExpo January 19-20 at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center!

2018's AgExpo will host a wide array of educational seminars and trade show booths for people of all ages. There are over 150 booths in the main area of the expo, featuring local honey, wine, and other agriculture products for farmers of all kinds. "We really cover a large group of people, from the home gardener to people who are commercial farmers," says Jeff Landry of Landry Vineyards and the North Louisiana Agri-Business Council.

AgExpo features tons of fun for the kids! Ag Alley holds a mini farm and petting zoo, where kids have the opportunity to pet baby animals. Pony rides will be available in conjunction with the horse demonstrations. Kids may also enjoy the gardens available for them to observe.

The Entergy Educational Pavilion will host nine seminars over the two days, with speakers from the LSU AgCenter, Master Gardener, and Ouachita Lawn & Garden. Hill Country Beekeepers Association host two seminars: a Flow Hive Demonstration and Honey Extraction & Bottling. There will also be a wine-pairing & sampling hosted by Landry Vineyards and Warehouse #1 Restaurant. This seminar has limited seating, so make sure you're there early!

Other features include the Stock Dog Trials, Horse Breed Extravaganza, Miniature Zebu Cow Show, and Dairy & Swine Livestock Show.
