SAYS BILL WAS RUSHED -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R- Arkansas, believes “the House moved a bit too fast” on efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare.   Cotton appeared on Sunday's  FACE THE NATION on CBS and explained: “To release a bill that was written in secret and then expect to pass it in 18 days I just don’t think was feasible,”  Cotton, a vocal opponent of the American Healthcare Act, recollected on the passage ofObamacare, and described the long-term efforts made by Democrats to pursue a national system of health care took much longer than the 18 days the Republicans took in assembling a replacement bill.  Cotton also mentioned that Washington will need to revisit this issue in the future.

President Trump reacts to the AHCA health care bill being pulled by Congressional Republicans before a vote as he appears with Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price (L) and Vice President Mike Pence (R) in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, March 24, 2017.
