The Lousiana Trust for Historic Preservation was founded in 1979.

The Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation is coming alongside the Cooley House Foundation to be a part of the Cooley House Lecture Series. The lecture will be held Thursday, November 4, and will begin at 6 p.m. at the Ouachita Grand Plaza. There will be a free tour of the Cooley House available from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. before the lecture begins.

The Louisiana Trust is a statewide nonprofit that advocates for the preservation of historic sites that are important to the diverse culture of Louisiana. Brian Davis, executive director of the Louisiana Trust, shares that the organization is currently working on the preservation of six different properties statewide. Brian will be conducting this Thursday's lecture. The lecture will be focused on "Saving Louisiana's Treasures" and will allow listeners to learn more about all that the Louisiana Trust does.

Admission to the lecture is free. More information on the lecture series can be found here.
