Another weather front moves across north Louisiana this evening. The National Weather Service forecasts a good chance of snow and sleet early Wednesday.
Accumulation of new sleet or snow could reach between 2 to 4 inches tomorrow. Meteorologist Jarod Floyd says the greatest factor on what we'll see is temperature. "If temps hover around the freezing mark Wednesday, the accumulation will stack up," he said.
Another issue is the sleet and ice already existing from Monday's storm. Icy conditions have made travel hazardous on area roads. Bridges and overpasses along I-20 will likely see more temporary closures due to additional precipitation from the next round of winter weather.
