Special Showing of "Starving the Beast" at ULM

Starving the Beast: The Battle to Disrupt and Reform America’s Public Universities ";

The University of Louisiana Monroe, in collaboration with Grambling State University, Louisiana Delta Community College, and Louisiana Tech University is hosting a special screening of the upcoming documentary, “Starving the Beast: The Battle to Disrupt and Reform America’s Public Universities” in Biedenharn Recital Hall Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.

"Starving the Beast" is an upcoming documentary, produced by Bill Banowsky, focusing on how state legislatures are affecting the rising cost of college tuition. The documentary focuses on six universities, as it studies the shift in state-level higher education policies.
