Suspect Arrested in Ski House Arson

UPDATE: A suspect has been arrested in an Arson at the ULM Ski House.

Michael Daquilla of Centerville, Mississippi was arrested based on video evidence.

 

The video shows the suspect sitting on the dock at the Ski House. The police report states Daquilla poured gasoline along a structure wall and lit the gas to start a fire. 

 

The video showed the suspect wearing a camo jacket, blue jeans and a LSU hat. 

 

Daquilla was arrested at Target and was taken to Ouachita Correctional Center. He was booked on one count of Simple Arson. He was wearing a camo jacket, blue jeans and an LSU hat.

The University of Louisiana Monroe Police Department is seeking public help in identifying a suspect in an arson investigation.

ULM Police need your help to ID this suspect.

On December 20 at 4:45 p.m. police and fire departments were dispatched to a fire at the ULM Water Ski House on Bon Aire Drive. 

Investigators are attempting to identify this person as someone of interest at this time.

Surveillance video shows the person carrying a can of gas that could have been used to start the blaze.
