The Jackson National Weather Service Doppler Radar showed widespread showers and thunderstorms across all of the Ark-La-Miss region.
Expect these showers and thunderstorms to slowly continue increasing in intensity throughout this afternoon as they race northeast near 65 miles per hour.
During this afternoon...severe thunderstorms may develop that may produce damaging winds and perhaps even a tornado or two.
Keep an eye to the sky and be prepared to seek shelter should warnings be issued.
