ULM Ranked As One Of The Best Online Colleges in the U.S

Cory Crowe

Bestschools.org ranked the University of Louisiana at Monroe's online college, eULM, as one of the best online colleges in the country. The university was the only school from Louisiana that made the top 100 listing as number 58.

Online programs coordinator Katie Dawson says the wide range of degrees they offer on the internet is a large reason why they get high marks. According to the credited website, fully accredited online colleges have become so attractive, the best campus-based schools now compete for students by offering online bachelor's degree programs, along with online master's degrees and even online doctoral degrees.

Dawson says the commitment to excellence the professors provide on campus spills over to the online program, which is a big part of the program’s success.

This is not the first time Bestschools.org has ranked eULM high on their list. In the summer of 2017, the website ranked ULM as the number one school in the state with the most affordable online degree programs.

Bestschools.org is a website that provides the public information on in-depth rankings of degree programs as well as of colleges and universities.
