Straight No Chaser is Northeast Louisiana's most listened to, locally produced, traditional jazz program.  From "Sassy" Sarah Vaughn to baritone-extraordinary, Johnny Hartman and Jazz legends such as "The Duke" and "The Count," Straight No Chaser is sure to wet the appetite of the most serious of Jazz aficionados.  Straight No Chaser airs Tuesday through Thursday from 7:06pm to 10pm..... Also Wednesday is vocal night!... Thursday is smooth jazz night.

Rob Lloyd has been involved in jazz for over 25 years.   He is a former music critic for a national college magazine based in New Orleans in the late '70's.   From there, his career carried him to the San Francisco Bay area where he was involved in two radio stations.   One had a contemporary jazz format and the other had a traditional jazz format.

A Bastrop native, Rob says coming home has been both a blessing and a challenge.   Since his return to the area he has been the jazz programmer for KRVV, an on-air personality with LA105, and currently does a mid-day air shift on Magic 97 "The Soul of the City" in addition to hosting Jazz, Straight No Chaser on KEDM.
