The Louisiana Delta Ballet is presenting Power & Grace, The Easter Celebration, Palm Sunday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center Theater.

Power & Grace tells the story of Easter through dance and music. "Most of the performance is through the dancers and their interpretation of the music, as well as lighting and costumes," says Jeanine Patton, the Vice President of the Board of Directors at Louisiana Delta Ballet. "You are watching that person on stage dance, and you literally feel the emotion as if you were right there with them."

Louisiana Delta Ballet

In the wake of the recent flooding affecting the area it can be easy to forget that Easter is right around the corner. The Louisiana Delta Ballet helps celebrate this holiday with the return of its show "Power and Grace" Saturday March 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jack Howard Theater of the Monroe Civic Center.

The show returns after several years in part because of an what the company describes as an immense public outcry. Featuring selections of scripture readings, song, and dance the program tells the Easter story, and is intended to both inspire and uplift audience members.
