KEDM Public Radio would like to thank everyone that came out to the Craft Festiv-ale Beer Tasting at Tonore's Wine Cellar!

The craft beer tasting included 25 American Craft Beers not yet sold in the Monroe area. A few of the beer labels included Oskar Blues, Gnarley Barley Urban South Founders, and Brooklyn Brewing. A poll was even taken to see what were people favorite type of beer with Crispy & Clean coming out on top.

Thursday July 20th, KEDM and Tonore's Wine Cellar are hosting a Craft Festiv-ALE beer tasting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Tonore's for a twenty dollar donation to KEDM.

This craft beer tasting will include local, national, and imported brands. Russell Kicey, owner of Tonore's, shares that there will be beers that guest are familiar with and some they may have never heard of before. There will be appetizers served along with the beers.

Local beer fans rejoice. Summer's first craft beer tasting will bring 25 craft beers from outside our area for you to taste and discover. Join us for Craft Festiv-ALE on Thursday, July 20th from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Tonore's Wine Cellar. This special event benefits KEDM Public Radio in partnership with Tonore's.

Thursday, November 17th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tonore's is opening their doors for the Tonore Holiday Wine Tasting. This year the proceeds from the event will go to the Quota Club of Monroe.

Quota of Monroe is a community service organization of women that give back to the community. All of the money Quota earns is put back out in the different organizations in the community. Quota works with Clara Hall Elementary School, the Food Bank, the Signing Santa program that gives hearing impaired children a Santa experience, and other community organizations.
