ULM Approved to Develop New Medical School
The University of Louisiana Monroe has been approved for an initial license with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine to develop a medical school on the ULM campus.
Future doctors could be trained in Monroe by 2021. A committee of the Louisiana Board of Regents approved an initial license for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine on Wednesday. The private, non-profit university plans to open a new branch on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
