(Monroe, LA) - The City of Monroe are excited to welcome the Miss Louisiana Pageant back to the City of Monroe for their 61st year of competition. Mayor Ellis says, “we are proud to partner with the Miss Louisiana Organization and support the success of the competition and its contestants.”
Mayor Ellis, on behalf of the City of Monroe, will present the Miss Louisiana Organization with a check for $25,000.00. The press conference will give the media and public a chance to hear from the Executive Director of the Miss Louisiana Organization, Dewana Little, producer of the live televised finals, Wayne Gentry, and the major television
sponsors. This will also be the first opportunity to meet the 32 candidates from all over the state vying for the title of Miss Louisiana.
A press conference will be held at the Monroe Civic Center’s W.L. “Jack” Howard Theatre, Monday, June 10, at 11:00 AM.
The 2024 Miss Louisiana Competition will be held Thursday, June 13 – Saturday, June 15. Thursday &
Friday Preliminaries will begin at 7 PM and the Saturday night finals will be held at 8 PM at the Monroe Civic Center’s WL “Jack” Howard Theatre.
