The classic story, "To Kill A Mockingbird", is presented by the Ruston Community Theatre this weekend.
The story of Scout and her father, Atticus Finch, is presented at the Dixie Center For The Arts. The play is directed by Nancy Wallace. "The story picks up in the summer months as Scout questions her father about the trial he's involved in, and other children telling her that what he's doing is wrong," says Wallace.
She shares about the lead cast of the show, and how there is renewed interest in the renowned novel due to author Harper Lee's recent announcement of an accompanying book going to publication. "It has really drawn added enthusiasm about the story and the show," Wallace said.
Performances begin Thursday, March 5 at the Dixie Center for the Arts.
