A concert by children, for children, is how Amy Matherne describes a benefit variety program at Strauss Theatre Center this Friday.
Local vocalists, pageant queens, and Strauss Youth Academy Dancers join together in a variety-style program to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. Miss Heart of Trenton 2014 Amy Matherne has brought together a talented lineup presenting all-time favorite musical and theatre selections.
"Part of my philanthropy as Miss Heart of Trenton is raising money for CMN. My platform is 'Make A Joyful Noise', focused on music education. I thought this would be a neat way to marry the two in a performance," she said.
The program is Friday at 7 p.m. in Strauss Theatre Center.
