The University of Louisiana at Monroe presents a faculty exhibition and a gallery opening in Walker Hall during a crawl event Thursday.
ULM Art Professor Cliff Tresner says the evening marks the close of the faculty exhibition in Bry Gallery. "During the summer, we do creative research. This year, seven faculty members have been involved."
The exhibit features pottery, sculpture, painting, photography, and sketches from members of the department.
The evening also serves as the grand opening of the Walker Gallery in Walker Hall. The corner gallery room is being curated by students. Guests can view a 10th anniversary showing of WATERLINE along the first floor walls of Walker going to the new gallery.
The sculpture garden serves as the middle station of the crawl. The event is Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
