The Brubeck Brothers Quartet is having a jazz concert at Brown Auditorium Tuesday, September 13th at 7:30 pm.
The Brubeck Brothers Quartet is a jazz quartet composed of Chris Brubeck and Dan Brubeck, sons of one of the most influential jazz icons, the late Dave Brubeck. The quartet also includes Chuck Lamb and Mike DeMicco.
Director of the ULM jazz band, Larry Anderson, is excited about this upcoming event. He believes it will be great to have the quartet engage with the ULM student body. Chris Brubeck says music education is very important to him, and while he is in Monroe, he will be talking to one of ULM's music history classes, talking to music majors at the Recital Hall, and doing a workshop with the jazz ensemble.
General admission tickets to the event are $5. ULM students and faculty can get their tickets for free at the VAPA box office with the use of a valid ULM ID. For more information contact the VAPA office at 318-342-1414.
