Art Crawl Spring Fever Cultivates Downtown's Creative Culture

https://www.facebook.com/downtowngallerycrawl/
The crawl includes local artists from all age ranges and abilities.

Thursday, April 6th, the Downtown Gallery Crawl will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This month's crawl will take place throughout Monroe and West Monroe in 10 different galleries.

As always, the Downtown Gallery Crawl is a place to find art, food, music, and drinks. The crawl is held by the Downtown Arts Alliance to add culture to the region and give artists and art lovers alike a place to display and enjoy art. This crawl will have old and new elements to keep the creativity flowing.

The Upstairs and Big Room Gallery will hold an artist talk at 7 p.m., while right outside of those two galleries, by the downtown railroad tracks in Monroe, will be a painting on the wall in the Outside Gallery done by one of Louisiana Tech's professors. Jackson Culp will be at the Sugar Gallery singing and playing ukulele. There will also be painters outside on Art Alley, ULM Art students fundraising with food and drinks, and art from Geneva Academy students. KEDM will be enjoying the crawl at the Garrett House Gallery.
