'Susannah' is the story of a girl in small town Tennessee that gains the unwanted attention of the town elders. After this, a traveling preacher tries to make her more godly, ultimately corrupting her. The opera shows what can happen in small town filled with jealousy and judgment, and the struggles of trying to fit in where you aren't always welcome. Cory McKern, one of the actors in the opera, shares that the opera is relatable and easy to understand. 'Susannah' will be conducted by Dr. Jeffery Peterson, and the pianist is Richard Seiller.
