The Downtown Monroe Alliance is continuing its mission to make a better Monroe this October through hosting the Downtown River Jam. This outdoor concert will take place Thursday, October 5th, at Bry Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Downtown River Jam is a free outdoor concert created to bring more family friendly events to downtown Monroe. The concert will open with the announcement of the Downtown Monroe jingle contest winner, and then the Water Boys will kick off the concert. Following the Water Boys, Joshua Love will be performing. Joshua shares that he is influenced by many different styles of music, and that shows in his own sound.
Choice Brands will have a beer sampling for the adults, and Two Dudes catering will be on site serving food. There will be face painting for the kids, and guests are encouraged to walk around downtown and enjoy the Gallery crawl that is also going on Thursday night.
