The North Central Louisiana Arts Council is brining together art and beer lovers alike for the eighth annual ARToberfest. ARToberfest will take place at The Norton Building in Ruston from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
ARToberfest is one of NCLAC's biggest fundraisers throughout the year. This beer tasting event will include food trucks, live music, and raffles. As for the beer tasting, ARToberfest showcases not only commercial beers, but also local and home brewed selections. During the beer tasting guests can vote on which beer they liked best. Awards will be given for People's Choice and Brewer's Choice. Live music will include locals such as Bethany Raybourn, Hank Dammit!, Heaven and Hotrods, and guest musician The Untouchables from the Shreveport area.
The NCLAC is a non-profit based in Ruston commited to bringing the arts to North Central Louisiana. NCLAC reaches Lincoln, Bienville, Claiborne, Union, and Jackson parish. The money raised from ARToberfest will help the NCLAC to continue bring the arts to these areas. Specifically, the funds this year will help continue the independent film series that takes place in Ruston every year.
Tickets for ARToberfest can be purchased here. Guests must be twenty-one years or older to attend this event.
