The Cooley House Foundation is hosting a tour of Mid-Century homes of all varieties in Monroe on October 27th, from 10 AM to 2 PM. On the 26th, at the Parish Restaurant, there will be a brief meet and greet with Mil Bodron, an award-winning interior designer.
The tour consists of four homes all built from the 1930's-1970's in the area. There will be specific emphasis on the Prarie Style with clean lawns, open floor plans and natural elements tied into the structure. This style was popularized by architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright after World War 2.
Ticket prices include a lunch provided after the tour and a talk by Mil Bodron, an interior designer at the Cooley House. All proceeds from this event will go towards improving and maintaining the Cooley House. You can purchase your tickets here.
