The Schepis Museum has a summer full of exciting events.
With gallery exhibits, paint night, and July 4 celebrations in June, July is left for movie making and murder mystery dinner theater. Throughout June, there is the Downstairs Gallery, that includes work from Brandi Williams and Amanda Roe, open for viewing until the closing reception on June 29.However, June 29 is also the day of the 4th of July celebration being held on Main Street from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Now, a few days before that, on June 27 the Schepis Museum is hosting a paint night with registration including all supplies needed to create your canvas masterpiece and a wonderful spread of hor d’oeuvres and wine! Guest art instructor Celeste Potgieter will be leading this class and registration is $50 at the Schepis Museum.
Throughout July, the Main Gallery will be making a dinosaur movie, so the audience can experience the art of making a film and find out more about the Monster of Caldwell unearthed in the early 1800’s. Exhibits will include models from the ULM Natural History Museum Collections and more. July 26 and 27 the Schepis Museum is hosting a Murder Mystery dinner theater featuring Twin Cities Entertainment. Tickets are $50 and are available now. Complete details are online.
