A business expo for small business owners and entrepreneurs provides the chance to gain information on various services and network with other local business people.
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center hosts the expo on Saturday at the Monroe Convention Center. LSBDC Communications Specialist DeRon Talley says the event provides answers on an array of topics.
"This is a great opportunity to network and learn about the small business community outside of what may be in your daily work. It showcases many resources available to those staring or managing a business," he said.
A panel conducts a discussion on financial aspects of a small business. Accessing capital and alternative financing are some of the topics they'll address in the session.
The expo is at the Monroe Convention Center on Saturday from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
