The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at the University of Louisiana Monroe is partnering with Louisiana Economic Development to bring "Business and Breakfast" to life.
This event takes place on June 21 from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. and will be held in Room 117 of Stubbs Hall on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus. Hosted by Taylor Nelson, marketing and training coordinator, and Christina Davis, senior business consultant, this event will be an informational and application meeting for the upcoming SEBD Roundtable program.
To qualify for the SEBD Roundtable program the business in question must be registered for at least two years and have at least two employees with a minimum of $100,000 in sales.
Through ten meetings, once a month, the SEBD Roundtables provide business owners with the opportunity to improve leadership skills, sharpen decision-making abilities, and build lasting relationships through peer-to-peer learning. These Roundtables provide access to shared experience rather than advice, a safe environment to process sensitive business challenges with peers, the ability to get just-in-time answers to pressing issues, and expert guest speakers on key business topics.
The LSBDC is also hosting a “Marketing Workshop” on Monday, a “Financing a Business” event on July 25, and a “Claims Adjustment” event in August. For more information visit www.lsbdc.org/ULM or call (318) 342-1224.
