Candy Cane Lane will light the night this holiday season starting November 8th. The 1.25 mile wooded drive decorated with over one million lights open nightly through January 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Guests can enjoy hayrides November 22 though December 28. Guests can see the lights arranged in variety of displays, including a drive-through lighted tunnel.

The Strauss Theatre is proud to present their first production of 2025. "Wait Until Dark" is a gripping thriller by Frederick Knott that follows Susy Hendrix, a blind woman who becomes the target of three criminals searching for a mysterious doll filled with drugs. As the tension escalates, Susy must use her wits and resourcefulness to outsmart her assailants and survive the deadly game of cat and mouse. The play is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with its twists, turns, and unexpected revelations. Shows run from January 9-12 & 16-19.

Get ready for the 16th Annual Off the Wall fundraiser at the Masur Museum of Art! OTW is the area’s premier art auction featuring an excellent selection of art by artists in our community and from around the country. The party includes an expanded bar and delicious food, both of which pair nicely with live music! Proceeds from Off the Wall support exhibitions and educational programs at the Masur Museum of Art. As the largest visual arts museum in northeast Louisiana, the Masur Museum of Art is vital to providing quality visual art experiences to the community of Northeast Louisiana. This is accomplished through temporary exhibitions, educational programs for all ages, and the management of a permanent collection.

Join the Ouachita Parish 4-H for an evening of delicious foods on November 18th! Members will compete against each other in different categories, and the winners will go on to compete against other parishes in the Northeast Region Cookery on February 6th, 2025. While the dishes are being judged, healthy living activities will be held for all members of the family.
