37th Annual Speech-Language Pathology Spring Conference

The 37th Annual Speech-Language Pathology Spring Conference will host Dr. Jan Wasowicz presenting on "Putting the Language Literacy Network into SLP Practice." Dr. Wasowicz has more than 40 years of experience as a speech-language, literacy, and learning specialist working with students in a variety of educational settings, including public schools, Head Start programs, and private practice. This continuing education course will focus on the language components of literacy, the roles and responsibilities of SLPs with regard to literacy assessment and instruction, specific activities for the development of language and literacy skills, and writing goals and objectives for language and literacy instruction. This is a 2-day conference, with Thursday being 8:00am-4:00pm and Friday being 8:00am-12:30pm.
