MAD Dash 5K, presented by McDonalds/Gilley Enterprises, is a new 5K/ fun run where100% of the proceeds will benefit the Louisiana Cancer Foundation. The race's hope is to "Make a Difference" in the lives of cancer patients in NELA. Join in on April 5, 2025 at ULM in The Grove where they will kick off the 5K, one mile fun run, a Survivors' Celebration, MAD Kids Zone, and more!

For the past several years, Friends of the Richland Parish Library has held an annual book sale fundraiser for the Richland Parish Library Summer Reading Program. Funds that are raised will provide prizes for top readers. Last year the Friends Group presented two top readers with Kindles. This year we hope to increase that number.

Please come out and join us. We will have a lot of books available in many genres for all ages. Books are in like-new condition with some gentle wear.
