Paintings by Pam Gale Hallman depicting the fauna of Lake D'Arbonne will be displayed Nov. 12-29, along with several animal mounts. Opening reception for the exhibit will be Nov. 12, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Exhibit times: Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Free admission.

Candy Cane Lane will light the night this holiday season starting November 8th. The 1.25 mile wooded drive decorated with over one million lights open nightly through January 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.Guests can enjoy hayrides November 22 though December 28. Guests can see the lights arranged in variety of displays, including a drive-through lighted tunnel.

Get into the holiday spirit with the Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts for an original Christmas Caberet performed by some of the most talented students in the area! Directed by SYAA alumna Hannah Branson. written by SYAA alumnus Jay Curtis. Music Direction by Jeanne Patterson. Choreography by Jennifer Lizenby. Accompanied by live band -- Jeanne and the Jingles. Shows are at 7:00 pm on Friday and 2:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Bring toys and wrap gifts for donation this Christmas! Commander Chris will be grilling burgers for a free lunch. They will have wrapping supplies available, or you may bring your own. Come out and feel the Christmas spirit while listening to festive music.
