American Legion Post 13 will provide Hamburgers and hotdog plates free to veterans: the general public is asked to donate $10 for a plate. Music, and generally good atmosphere will be provided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the end of hostilities in Vietnam.
This event is co-hosted by the VFW Post 1809 and will be followed by live music and dancing at VFW headquarters located 1499 HWY 594, Monroe La from 6PM until 11PM. The VFW portion of the event allows free admission for all veterans.
Both units are non-profit Veteran Service Organizations whose proceeds go directly to helping local veterans and their families.
