Every Tuesday evening, the Jazz Navigators (Adam Ryland, Dan Sumner, Eric Siereveld, Pearson Cross) play jazz from 6-8 pm at the Flying Tiger. Joining the Navigators each week will be special guests. The last Tuesday of the each month is the "Jazz Jam," where jazz students and practitioners join the band on selected tunes.

This exhibit will be created by the Farmerville Jaycees, whose Louisiana Watermelon Festival will celebrate 63 years this month. Come see how the festival began and scenes from its iconic events---parade, competitions, beauty pageant, and more---which have brought joy to this region for more than six decades.

Students can learn professional filmmaking from concept to premiere in this comprehensive two-week intensive: Movie Making 101. Students work with ULM faculty and industry professionals to create a complete short film, learning everything from camera work and directing to editing and sound design. Most importantly, students discover that nothing stands between them and becoming a filmmaker right now.
All equipment is provided, and no prior experience is required. Students finish with a completed film perfect for college portfolios and the confidence to continue their creative work. The two-week camp runs July 20-31 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily (excluding weekends).
