The Louisiana Reading Association hosts the 2024 Annual Reading Conference December 5-7, 2024, in Grambling, Louisiana. This year’s theme, "Building Resilient Readers: Promoting Social-Emotional Wellness Through Literacy," features dynamic keynotes, expert panels, and practical sessions on topics such as social-emotional learning, trauma-informed teaching, and the science of reading.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Brian Dinkins, an expert in emotionally-inclusive practices, and Malia Hollowell, author of The Science of Reading in Action. Attendees will gain tools to enhance literacy instruction and support the social-emotional needs of students.
