Gershwin, Bacharach, Diamond - just a few names that created memorable music to generations. Temple B'nai Israel hosts it's annual Tribute to Jewish-American Composers Concert on Saturday.
"It's a concert that everyone enjoys because there is such a diverse range of music," says event coordinator Susan Marx. Local musician Rod Allen Payne produces the show. This year's lineup includes Carvel Avis, Lawrence Gibbs, GG Shinn, Lisa Spann, Zelia Logan, and Lisa Lee Pfeifer.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. A reception for guests and performers follows the program.
