The Lincoln Parish Library celebrates National Library this week.
Guests are encouraged to visit the library and stop by the service desk to write down your thoughts on why the library is important to the community. Responses will be shared on a display in the lobby area.
LPL Administrative Assistant Sarah Creekmore says there's a wide range of services the library provides to Lincoln Parish residents. "The library community is very active. This week is a wonderful way to get to know more about the library and get involved yourself," she said.
This Friday, a signing ceremony takes place at the library, where local officials sign a Declaration for the Right to Libraries. A document pledging their support of library services in the parish.
