The Monroe Symphony League Fall Book Fair opens this Saturday.
The fair has gathered its biggest collection yet of books, magazines, series, audiobooks, and more. Proceeds benefit the league's projects such as Sound Safari, a musical instrument introduction for area elementary schools.
"A great selection of militia books and several series that are in mint condition are some of the best finds you'll see this weekend," says MSL member Scott Legan.
On opening day, there is a $2 fee for adult shoppers at the fair, located at 320 North Fourth in Monroe.
MSL member Jorenda Stone says great deals can be found inside and out. "Our children's book room has a wonderful selection. With the beautiful weather this weekend, look for bargain tables set up outside the building."
