Mothers and families of those who have experienced the loss of a child or pregnancy gather for a remembrance walk at Forsythe Park Saturday.
SHARE of Northeast Louisiana hosts the event. Organization member Gwenn Hall says the walk has grown in awareness of the grieving process. "The support of family and loved ones is so important, and to remember your child as a family member," she says, "to gather together is an important step."
The walk is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Forsythe Park. A tree-planting ceremony concludes the morning's activities. "Mothers and families can join in planting the tree as a special remembrance of their child," said Hall.
