A little disguise and a trio of treats are all part of a fun evening in support of Arts With Passion.
The Wine, Chocolate & Jazz Masquerade Ball is Saturday. Arts With Passion founder Pashen Sims is excited about the inaugural event. "I wanted to do a fun fundraiser, and the masquerade ball just came in line since this is Louisiana," she said.
The groups seeks to continue to present quality theatrical performances. "Our first production in July 2014 was initially done as a fundraiser. It was such a great experience. The community was excited about it and it was something we felt like we needed to continue," said Sims.
A silent auction will be held during the event, which starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Landry Vineyards.
