Saturday, November 12th is America Recycles Day. Ouachita Green will be accepting donations at the Monroe Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
America Recycles Day is a way to get communities and families thinking about and participating in recycling.
Ouachita Green will be accepting:
- paper
- scrap metal
- cardboard
- plastics
- old computers and technology
- tires
- appliances
- aluminum
- lightly worn clothes and shoes
And will not be accepting:
- glass
- chemicals
- medical waste
- ammunition
- motor oil
America Recycles Day is a service to Ouachita Parish and the surrounding communities, but Ouachita Green will be accepting donations to keep this event free for the public in the future.
