Saturday, September 16th, the Center for Children and Families is holding its annual signature fundraiser, the Black and White Ball. This year's ball will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at the Bayou Desiard Country Club.
This year's fundraiser will have a new twist; its theme is Casino Royale. There will be casino themed games, and guests will receive fake money to try their luck. Along with casino games, the Black and White Ball will have live music by Rockin' Doupsie Jr. and the Zydeco Brothers, food provided by the country club, and wine and beer selections. Guests are encouraged to dress semiformal in black or white.
