The northeast corner of the State of Louisiana now has a chapter of Louisiana Master Naturalists, a statewide environmental education and conservation organization. The first quarterly meeting of 2018 is January 9, 6:30 – 8 p.m., at the Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge Visitor’s Center.
Chris Doffitt of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will speak to the group about the Louisiana Natural Areas Registry program. A business meeting will follow.
