A renaissance is happening along the banks of the Ouachita River. Downtown Monroe and West Monroe are seeing a rejuvenation of business and development. On Tuesday, September 18, KEDM will hold an open public forum on downtown development and use.  The event will feature an expert panel to answer your questions about future plans and what is working in other areas.

The event will be held at Trapps On the River Resturant in West Monroe on the lower river patio. Policy and a Pint begins with a "Meet and Greet" at 5:30 p.m. and the "Radio Event" begins at 6 p.m.

Panelists:

  • Steve Taylor, Downtown Economic Development District
  • Christine Rambo, North Louisiana Economic Partnership
  • Bill Roark, Tri-State Properties

The event will be moderated by Cory Crowe, KEDM director of News and Public Affairs.
