North Louisiana has recently been hit by floods, tornadoes and other unexpected disasters. Tuesday May 21, 90.3 KEDM Public Radio will hold Policy and a Pint: Preparing for Disaster.
Our panel of experts will answer you questions and provide tips for preparing and recovering from disaster. The event will be held at Miro's On The River, at 201 Walnut Street in Monroe.
The event will begin with a "meet and greet" at 5:30 p.m. and the "LIVE" radio event begins at 6 p.m.
Panelists include: Neal Brown - Governor's Office of Homeland Security, Jannet Durden - United Way of Northeast Louisiana, and Ron Bush - State Farm Insurance. The event will be moderated by KEDM News Director Cory Crowe.
