Saturday, July 27, the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana is teaming up with Blue Sky Yoga to host a fundraiser. This fundraiser will be from 1:30 to 4:30 with three different events at Blue Sky Yoga’s studio.
The first event is a Nutrition Vitality talk with Hope Anderson Fruge at 1:30. This will be an informative conversation on ways to awaken and nurture the body.
The second event is Yoga for Everybody at 2:15. This is an opportunity for guests to explore yoga through gentle movements and breathing techniques with Arely Castillo.
The last event will begin at 3:30 and is Restorative Yoga and a Sound Bath to help guests relax their minds, bodies, and spirits while listening to the sound of Dawn Eakin playing healing bowls.
The Food Bank requests the minimum donation amount be $15 to include all three events and all proceeds are benefitting the Food Bank’s hunger relief programs. There is no experience required and everyone is welcome, the Food Bank also requests that guests bring their own yoga mats if they have one.
