The Coca-Cola Truck Night is Wednesday, December 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens of Monroe. The event is free to the public and will feature a Lighted Coke Truck, cups of hot cider, and a visit from the Coke Polar Bear.
The Coke Truck will be parked on the 2000 block of Riverside Drive directly in front of the Coke Museum. According to Director Ralph Calhoun, the truck lights up, plays Christmas music, and attracts a big crowd. He says, "People love it. Kids get in front of it and dance. Adults take lots of pictures."
The Biedenharn Museum's three buildings will be open that night as well. Each room features its own unique Christmas tree and lights decorated by the Monroe Garden Study League. There will even be a model railroad Christmas village with two Coca-Cola Christmas trains set up in the education building.
In the museum's gardens, Santa Claus will be available for pictures next to the poinsetta tree. Photos are free, but parents need to bring their own cameras.
