Friday, The University of Louisiana Monroe Art Program will begin to auction off medical masterpieces. Students in the program started with a blank canvas, medical masks donated by an art alumnus. The students used dyes and paints to transform the masks into wearable masterpieces.

"Mask Up - A Wearable Masterpiece" will be an online opportunity to support ULM's Art Society, the Delta Alpha Chapter of Kappa Pi. 25 art students created two masks each.

The masks are available at 32Auctions.com/MaskUpULMKappaPi Friday May 8th. There are 50 masks that will be going up for auction. Mask bidding starts at $10 and the Auction will run for 7 days. You can keep up with the auction on the site and we will also keep you posted on the art program facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/ulmartprogram/

Kappa Pi, The ULM Art society group, has set at $1,500 goal for the auction. The proceeds will help the group promote art events.
